The Bridge redesign won a 2015 American Inhouse Design award from Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). It is a national design competition with over 6,000 entrants. This and the winter issue were among the top 15 percent. The competition is described below.

The 45th Annual UCDA Design Competition recognizes the best of the exceptional design work done to promote educational institutions (secondary, vocational, or higher education) and supports the exchange of ideas and information relating to the unique role of these designers.
Out of 1,091 entries, this won one of 143 awards of excellence.
