CUBIIC / CUEBIT
CUBIIC is a novel DJ/VJ interface conceived by Lyes Belhocine that invites participants to mix audio or video loops without any prior mixing experience. Flipping the cubes switches audio or video sources that are then mixed with a capacitive sensor crossfader. Real time audio and video effects enhance the mix by increasing variability. The audio and video mix is synchronous and continuous. The latest iteration of this interface, CUEBIT, is currently featured in The Tech Museum of Innovation's ReBoot:music exhibit.
