NERVOUS SNAKES artwork for friends

The Nervous Snakes are a fantasy heavy metal band invented by my friends. For the birthday of one of them, I went back to the drawing to give him this picture ... It's just a gift for a friend, but one of the best project I could do.

I've always been fascinated with heavy metal album covers of the 80s, a golden age for graphic designers. The best of them are those of Iron Maiden with the incredible work of Derek Riggs.

Flashy colors of the 80s, grainy texture and imperfect finishes are the basics of this artwork. It's an ode to the album art of the 80s.
