A music box mechanism that features spinning horses when played. The lower body as well as the upper plate are constructed of plexiglass to provide sturdy casing. The raised lower base and the internal gear components are composed of masonite. Birch horses and dowels encased in brass tubing float above a circle of brushed aluminum. Cherry dowels stem from the body with a center plexiglass dowel to allow the plate to turn freely.

The music box contains both hand made and laser cut elements. All wood pieces and gears are waxed for smoother operation and to provide a polished, natural-looking finish.
Small feet with hand filed curvatures ensure effortless gliding on the aluminum track.
