YRM: Iasi Marketing Book
3 fish were commissioned by YRM Architects to design a book that focussed on the technology, people and informatics of a proposed IT business park and university campus in Iasi (pronounced Yash), Romania. The intention was to provide a marketing-led and succinctly designed communication that could be recognised as the end vision and touch ‘the hearts and minds’ of all stakeholders involved.
The imagery used was also key. Rather than simply showing sterile images of the planned environment, we focused on how technology can improve the day-to-day lives of people living and working in the park. The design of the brochure made use of an abstracted circuit board as a ‘graphic device’ that runs through the whole piece. The piece was digitally printed, with a matt card cover and finished with silver foil blocking.
