Cordele Inland Port℠ is designed to create or expand international markets for regional businesses.  It provides direct container rail service to and from the Port of Brunswick. The inland port aims to serve as a gateway to southwest Georgia and adjacent regions in Florida and Alabama.
The Cordele Inland Port℠ is a public-private partnership between the Crisp County Industrial Development Authority and Cordele Intermodal Services.  The Inland Port is a rail-centric terminal that sends and receives containerized freight to and from the Georgia Ports Authority in Savannah, GA. 

 

Because Cordele Inland Port℠ provides container rail service, I wanted to incorporate the moving of containers in this logo. The yellow and orange bars represent containers that are in a wave, which represents movement. In other words, I wanted to incorporate the flow of containers in this logo. I choose bright colors, because most containers have bright colors.
