Joy to the World
This was a community Christmas concert with various choirs and performing groups throughout Ventura County, California. The challenge was to create a recognizable wordmark and incorporate it with posters, fliers, and emails that would be distributed throughout the community. A need also arose for a title screen slide with subtle animation to be shown directly before the event, between performances, and during the intermission.
Many fonts were considered and sketches made. Ultimately Engravers MT was chosen as the base font for the wordmark.
Near the end of the Digital Exploration of the wordmark. Still needs some kerning between the W and O.
Final poster which was displayed in many prominent locations throughout the community and neighboring cities.
