This was a project I worked on as a freelancer for my design placement agency before starting there. The brief was to create bespoke signage for the toilets of a newly rebranded hotel in Harrogate, using their brand colours and based on items of clothing rather than physical depictions of men and women. I took the angle of 1940s fashion (aside from the mens shirt and tie, which just fell into place) and created several vector illustrations focusing on shoes, hats and neckwear.
