Ayush was launched by HUL in 2001 as an Ayurvedic Healthcare brand. There was a strong backing of unctionality with clinically tested and proven products.  In 2005, the brand deepened its Ayurvedic roots by the introduction of Ayush Therapy Centers (ATCs) – these were Ayurvedic healing centers akin to the modern day spas.
The brand has had a consistent positioning since inception. There is authenticity in product design – deliver results (efficacy without side effects) for the consumer. This consisted both of personal care as well as wellness and lifestyle products (ingestible).
