This is an illustration I made for the collective exhibition Poetic Science, Alliance Française, Bologna, Italy (2015). Link here.
The Red Mama (Mamavera Rubra) produces a red flower that lasts one month. During this time, a new bud grows and the adult flower takes care of it, whispering lullabies and nursery rhymes. The old flower withers at the same instant the new blossom is ready to take its place.
