I was approached by two hair stylists who were opening a new salon for a full identity package. The name of their venture, “Studio H,” referred both to the clients’ surname and to the hair they transformed. The ideal logo would reflect their tagline, “The Art of Hair.” And, as their services included orthopedic wigs and prosthesis in addition to traditional and theatrical hair styling, it was also important to them to incorporate the color green.  After several drafts, I created the “H” logomark formed from a pair of barber’s scissors and a paintbrush, as seen below. Our next step will be to collaborate on all the branding collateral for the salon -- business cards, letterhead, client loyalty cards, brochures, etc.
