This is my RAW image I started with. Completely SOOC.
The first task to finish was to adjust the lighting. It wasn't a whole lot, but I darkened the bright background, and lightened up our couple.
The second step was to get rid of anything distracting in the background/scene. I spent around three hours removing the things I thought were taking away from the photograph.
When I removed things from the background in our previous photo, I couldn't decide how much of the chairs/tables in the balcony I wanted to remove, so this is the final decision. I also added a subtle vignette to help draw the viewer's eye in towards our couple.
Our Final step here is making our image B&W. I chose to do this photo in black and white because I really loved the composition that the different tones create.
