Crew Basketball App

In  this assignment, the goal was to interview someone we knew, and based on the interview alone; concept, design, and prototype a new app.  An app with a great user experience that solved a problem the target audience, i.e the interviewee, has.

I interviewed one of my good friends. His interests were very specific. He is an avid basketball fan. Usually playing about 4-5  pickup games in a weeks time, and watching basketball on t.v. regularly.
Since basketball is a team sport, he obviously would need to get friends together to play a game, or go to the gym and hope there was a pickup game being played.

Easing the hassle of getting people together to play is the goal of this app. A user is able to join an existing pickup game, or create his own game and the app will automatically send messages to his “crew,” who can then simply join his game or not. The user can see who will be at the game without ever actually talking to the individual players. The user may join a game already created by his friends, or by a third party who has made his game public for anyone to join. Each game has a maximum amount of players able to join.

The user may message through the app if necessary, and add people to his crew through facebook, twitter, google plus, and through his phone.

The app will send a message through any service. though the app does require that the user be signed in to Crew BBall to join a game.
