There is an expression in English; "Holy Cow", in fact it is a bit of an Americanism. This was the starting point of this humorous image of the flying cow. Being an atheist it is always a strange point to determine the values behind the blasphemy criteria. Especially when there is a good image in there to exploit. Anyway, over the years I have had a lot of concerns to the wildlife of this planet, but as my father was a worker on a farm, have always accepted the need for humans to eat meat. Recently, through my endeavours on the Creative pet Project, and seeing so many bad and negative videos, I have decided to become vegetarian by the end of the year. The ear tag, on the cow displays the number of animals killed by humans for consuption in a year. If this is not alarming enough, my morality and own health need to be cleansed of this illness that mankind has toward the planet, and fauna.

The actually image worked out well. The only real complication was the fact as a treat, through request, I did a slower making of video, which can be seen below. I had to make sure I had enough RAM before starting, as well as the time and disk space to record the 30,000 frame shots it took to do the video.

The two sketches show the amount of residue artefacts that appear on the scan before work in Photoshop begins. These need to be erased and carefully cleaned up to avoid distortion in the image, before the mask and painting can begin.

The eyes were the first part of the rendering, as they are the most important aspect of the image. Later I decided to make an ear tag, that is clipped into the animals ear. The details reveal the initials JC, and the closer details of the barcode reveal how many domestic animals were killed in 2015, as part of the animal food industry.
This comes as a comment, as I have recently decided to become vegetarian, for certain reasons.
The subtle details of all the parts of the animal are taken from several photo sources and rendered to match the look and feel of the real animals.
