Interior Design of a residential sample flat
The design style followed throughout was a Contemporary Design Style.
Primarily, simplicity, subtlety, sophistication, texture and clean lines help to define Contemporary Style of Interiors. It is more about the uncluttered, streamlined, sleek and efficient spaces.
Neutrals, black, and white are the main colors in contemporary style interiors. The palette is often punched up and accented with bright and bold color.

The Living Room
A living room is more often for entertaining guests, reading, watchingTV and mostly for spending time with the family. For the Living Room a very balanced color scheme was to be selected. The combinations used had to be fun, dynamic, energetic as well as relaxed and comfortable.

The color that was thought to be appropriate for this room was selectedto be Violet – a secondary color that is a perfect mix of a warm and cool colorbringing both vibrancy as well as a composed feeling to the room. Using it along with a neutral white added a sophistication that is an essence of Contemporary Style.
The Master Bedroom
This room is associated as a cozy,  private, relaxed and warm room. An earthy and neutral color tone palette was perfect choice. Earthy tone colors come from natural things around us like brown soil, green leaf, cloudy sky, etc. This palette creates a warm, nature-friendly atmosphere.

The Master Bath
The master bath being adjoining to the master bedroom has to look like a part of it. The theme, feel and color schemes stay the same as the master bedroom.

Mosaic tiles were chosen for they are high fired and durable, hard and tough. They come in a wide variety of colours and textures and are easy to customize. Also they are water and bacteria resistant and overall require very low maintenance.
The Bedroom
The Bedroom was chosen to bring out the qualities like youth, colorful and fun. So a color palette which consisted of the neutral shade of white was used as a primary palette and the secondary palette comprised of accents of bright colors giving the room a colorful yet subtle look of a Contemporary style.

The Bath
The feel desired for the bath was one that was fresh, clean and hygienic. In order to bring out these a color palette including tints and shades of the color blue was finalised upon. Blue also being a color associated most with water helped create a fresh yet serene looking contemporary bath.
