A Picture Book for Tomorrow 2013

A PICTURE BOOK FOR TOMORROW
A few illustrations from the "Picture Book for Tomorrow". You can see a whole book @ ISSUU link below.

The main idea of the book is “Start from yourself and you can change the world”. This book shows how actions that we do today affect our future and surroundings. It helps to understand, that by trying to change even small things, one by one, step by step today, we can change not only our personal, but the whole world’s future.

There is very little text in the book. I tried to convey the message through illustrations. Also, for this reason, this book should be read by a parent and a child together – they should try to understand the pictures and think how that applies to their life and what they could do about it.

There is no single continuous story - each spread of the book could be discussed between a parent and a child as a wide topic - what happens with the garbage after we through them away, how food and thoughts affect our body and mind, how we spend our time, what could we change?.. While drawing this book I was hoping that it could help us become more aware of what we do every day automatically.
