With Adobe Illustrator came the Pen Tool, one of the most important tools in the program. In this tutorial, I learned how to properly make lines, curves, and shapes with the Pen Tool, and I learned how to change the shapes' line color and filling color. After learning how to use this tool, I was ready to create more complex designs.
The Logo Tutorial above primarily focused on teaching me about symbols and Shapes in Illustrator. With the use of the Star and Rectangle Tools, I was able to make the center shape where the "Logo Tutorial" title is placed. The rest of the design dealt with placing symbols, editing symbols, and duplicating symbols. It would be fitting to call the tutorial "Symbols Tutorial!" Overall, I'm very satisfied with the outcome, and the tutorial taught me great techniques that I now use in Illustrator.
