Our team created an international campaign for House of Design, a dutch design company. House of Design connects designers with companies, sells designers products, and holds educational or innovative events. Our goal was to create awareness among several European countries. We wanted to target the international audience by interacting with them and motivating them to participate further on.
Thus, our campaign was a project held in a public space involving interaction between human and human. Our idea was to held an event in the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport where we can reach the most international visitors in limited time and space. We would showcase an object created by a designer from House of Design and the employees will spread flyers and introduce the campaign to the people. People who are interested in the object can win the object by downloading the House of Design Application and answering short questions about the promotion video.
The mobile application is the technical media that will keep the audience engaged with House of Design after the airport event. From the mobile app people can get more information about House of Design's and their upcoming events and news. On the application, people can see the promotion video and there will be a small quiz about the video. If people answer the quiz correctly there will be submitted to a lottery where they can win the object showcased in the airport. Also, there will be a second part of the campaign which is hosting a contest where people upload their own artwork regarding the theme, inspiration, with "#WeMakeYourIdeasShine", and "#HoD" on Instagram, and the winner of this even will also be announced on the House of Design app.
As a result, the visitors of the project will observe the object by House of Design, and be able to participate in a lottery and an event. The project is an instrument to create awareness and interest about House of Design overall. But, specifically the project is to make people download House of Design's application. The application as the second media, offer a small game, the lottery and artwork submission. Also, it enhances the communication between the company and the target group and among the people who are interested in the company or design in general.
