Rebranding for the 2015 Junior Olympic National Champoinship Compitition
Approach
My main focus for this project was to create a dynamic design that would help to identify the Oldsmar Boys Gymnastic Club LLC. at the 2015 Junior Olympic National Championship Competition. Becuase multiple gyms from across the country would be in attendence my client had ask for a design that would help create a positive brand identification to set their gym apart while utilizing a one color scheme that could be utilized on multiple platforms.
Design
Because the gym had been around for Ten years and had already created a brand identity in the gymnastics community I wanted to utilize elements of their old logo design while giving it a fresher and more modern feel. My inspiration for this design actually sprung from the gymnast in the original logo that the client had provided. I apreciated the almost 1920s feel of the original logo and wanted to perpetuate that in my final design.
