Editorial illustration for "The Architectural Review" magazine. I was asked to portrait the famous german architect Frei Otto for an restrospective article about his work and life.
I tried to combine the tensile and membrane structures for which he was famous for with his influence of nature in the overall composition as well as in the crosshatching technique.
