Tree2 or Timeless Growth
To make a piece of art that outlives the artist in many ways was the goal of this project. This tree lives longer than me, the development of this piece of art will continue on its own.
The shell of a tree is made of bronze, and a new tree is grown inside. Every season the object changes,every year the tree grows, changing the proportion of the tree versus the bronze shell.
When the tree breaks the shell the piece is finished.

Select a tree
Make a mould of it, in order to make a wax model of it
Cast it in bronze
And select the new tree..see top..
