If we have an object we don’t need it often ends up in the garbage. Recycling and redesigning it is really rare.
In my photographic series the different objects - hand extensions are not just garbage. They are not thrown away and forgotten. They are found and transformed into strange collections, sold at the Flee Market in Sofia. These “second hand” objects live their second life as expensive commodity sold in expensive stores. Everything is one of a kind, everything is unique, everything is vintage. The objects are transformed into a special commodity, extremely valuable to the people who sell it.
All photos are taken with a mobile phone. They share a connection with each other, as they are extensions of our hands, transformed into “second hand” objects.
