Washington DC needed an upgrade. As a millennial with a passion for history, I traveled to DC to explore the city and soon realized maybe the travel branding could be more appealing. I incorporated new tshirt designs, water bottles, tote bags, a travel magazine and even buttons. The city got a new play on an old color scheme as well as new patterns to play into the updated colors. Bold typography mixed with hand drawn illustrations of former presidents and architecture gives a modern spin on the historic city.
