A suit made by human skin.

A tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew has achieved many great fests and impossible tasks, but out of all I personally think his greatest achievement was to father a nation of different races. His ability as a leader to rally different races into one Singapore spirit has set the foundation for Singapore to be a first world economy .

The fabric of Singapore is weaved together by people that stand on the same ground despite of our races, religions and dialects.

The strongest front we have is our united stand as one Singapore and at the same front we face the fiercest challenges. The conflicts in today's world are likely to be ignited by the differences in our race and religion, theref'ore our Singapore spirit is our national treasure and we must protect what we have build.

All that Singapore have achieved today rested on the racial fabric of our society. I have created this piece of Photo Art to remind us to put on the Singapore Spirit which Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his team had weaved together.

The Racial suit is made up of different skin colors from different races. It shows the spirit of being a Singaporean. Mr Lee Kuan Yew quote “ This land does not belong to any single community but to Singaporeans”.

In this artwork, there are no stitches that hold the skin patches together because this is based on our own will. The suit represents a modern front yet it is made up from the value of the east.

This racial suit is uniquely Singapore and it needs to be well maintained diligently as to keep its pristine condition. This is the only suit we have so we have to make sure nothing can stain this suit of ours.

Let this suit remind us of who we are. We are one nation, one people and one Singapore.

As Mr Lee Kuan Yew mentioned not to build any monument or public structure in remembrance of him but instead to uphold the spirit which he stood for, this speaks of the spirit of one Singapore he has achieved.
