This colorful picturebook is the beginning of the series about worldwide traveling of Bohdan and Olesia. In first book they travel to Iceland.
The book is for children up to 6 years.
It performs16 bright but calm color pictures portraying main characters journey around Iceland. Styled as travelers photo album with captions. Illustrations executed in authors signature style are very detailed, inspired by wimmelbuch.
The book reveals culture of the country. Showing its ancient history, modern everyday life and pop music legacy.
The plot of the story is simple. Main characters shows preparations for the journey and many picturesque tourist sights such as Reykjavik, Akureyri glacier, Kverkfjöll ice caves, Husavik the Whale Capital of Iceland, Haukadalur and Landmannalaugar walleyes and other seasides and countrysides around the island.
The author is Kyryll Burmachenko, designer and illustrator.
