Coffee brand Old Quarters is inspired by the French influences left in Vietnam from the days it was colonised by France. The name itself is taken from, "The Old Quarters" which is an area in Hanoi, Vietnam that is known for its centuries-old French architecture. With this brand, I created three packaging designs that centred around the popular Vietnamese iced coffee.
I took notes from art nouveau and utilised plant decor and curves in the development of the logo. To create cohesion and symbolise the old historical relationship I incorporated gold foil textures throughout the packaging designs.
