Grant County Prospectors

The prospectors are a group of business leaders whose purpose is to educate policy makers and community members about the economic, community development and legislative needs in Grant County.

Each year an event is held at the Legislature to bring awareness to Grant County. The Prospectors give gifts with invitations to an annual reception to each of the legislators along with a Issue of Concerns Brochure.
Above is the 2015 gift — Stainless Steel water bottles with invitation attached by binding cord. Below is the matching e-vite sent to the NM Legislators. The printed invites were hand delivered to each Legislators office and to the offices of the Cabinet Secretaries. The event was well attended.
The small copper and enamel pins are given to visiting dignitaries and legislators. The large copper and enamal pin is utilized as a member badge.
In 2014, the invitation contained a zipper pull. The theme for the Issues of Concern was "pulling for more ZIP in New Mexico's Economy!".
In 2013, the gift and theme was Legislative Icebreakers!
Large signs are posted at the front of the Legislative Reception and scaled down to be used as table top signs.
Below is a sample news release sent to all area media.
