SWAROVSKI. POP UP STORE
The concept is to incorporate the values and traditions of the company and to create a contemporary interior, which differentiates the Swarovski brand from the competitors. Swarovski are known for their high-quality crystals. I choose crystals and glass as main materials. The idea to use crystal curtains instead of wall lead to the use of a support system, which is attached to the ceiling. LED lights are attached to every crystal to show the true beauty of it though lighting. Lights are programmed in order to attract more potential customers.
The goal of Swarovski pop-up store is to create an appealing retail space which will attract more customers though unusual product display solutions. The main focus of the project is an efficient and functional display case, which promotes Swarovki new collection. The pop up store will be located in Toronto’s high-end Yorkdale mall. The idea was to place it in the walkway in order to get the best location exposure.
The collection is broken down into 2 sections: big, statement jewellery like necklaces, jewellery sets and small items like rings, earrings, charms, brooches. In order to catch the viewer’s eye, the bigger items are placed in glass boxes, which form an entire display case. Smaller items are placed under glass. Thus the audience will not have to bend over to see a tiny piece closer.
