    This was an amazing project to work on. Not only is the script one of the most powerful pieces of American Theatre ever written, but this was one of those rare experiences when the star align and everyone’s initial designs fit together perfectly. The director would tell us her ideas and then we would each in turn say I was thinking the same thing. This made for a harmonious and incredibly tight collaborative process, which created a spectacular finished project. My finished design was actually very close to my initial sketches for this piece. It just felt good. Mystical, versatile, cold, and beautiful. While there was a very organic feel to the design, the cold bleak colors helped to create a stark isolation the reflected the characters of the play. Read Less
