Concept album for Vitamin String Quartet

Conceptual LP collection of Vitamin String Quartet performing Sigur Ros
Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ) is a music series devoted to creating innovative string renditions of contemporary music. The series is produced by CMH Label Group, a 38-year-old indie record company based in Los Angeles. CMH staff works hand-in-hand with a rotating cast of top string players, arrangers, producers and other creatives to bring VSQ to life through studio recordings, live performances, videos, sheet music and more.

VSQ Performing Sigur Rós reinterprets the Icelandic heroes’ minimalist, dream pop with equally lush viola, violin, and cello. The album collection explores the juxtaposition of classical elegance, etherealness and fun, finding its inspiration in temporal forms. Its end result positions the album as an exclusive collection that delivers both entertainment and tranquility. The elements found within the design are inspired by Iceland's Northern Light colors, wave forms and pattern, as well as the curves found on a viola, violin, and cello. The logo and placement of text draws play from  the 4th century BC Classical Greek term Contrapposto, a term that means counterpose. The color palette results from the contrast found in the colors that are present in the Northern lights and the texture and values from the statue of David replica in Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence.
