The Entrepreneurship Center, a center dedicated to supporting, educating, and mentoring budding entrepreneurs, recently opened on my community college campus. The Entrepreneurship Center produces a calendar of monthly events, which is distributed widely throughout campus. Unfortunately, this calendar suffers from a messy, cramped design, largely because the events are constrained to a traditional grid. Seeing the shortcomings of the current calendar, my Typography instructor tasked the class with formulating an improved calendar system for the Entrepreneurship Center. Our layout was to be as flexible as possible, accommodating a large number of events.
