Some of My Favorite Landscape Photos

I really liked the lone leaf on the fallen tree in the stream up in the mountains of north Georgia
Minneehaha Falls in north Georgia. This was my first outing with a 10 stop ND filter.
Natural Bridges arch in Bryce Canyon. I was struck by the great colors on display in the area and wanted to try to capture it in a photo.
Sunrise in the Ampitheater in Bryce Canyon. In this image, I was amazed at how the light from the sun really made the tops of the hoodoos glow.
Delicate Arch in Arches NP. We didn't hike to the arch itself due to time constraints, but I took this from the other side of the bowl. The main challenge here was photoshopping out all the people that were in the original image.
Long exposure of cars leaving Monument Valley. This has become one of my favorite shots from that trip.
One of my first Milky Way shots out west. This is just outside of Monument Valley taken off the side of the road. I was still learning how to best process shots of the Milky Way.
Shortly after sunrise at looking through Mesa Arch at Washerwoman Arch in Canyonlands NP, Utah
Mesa Arch itself taken with a 15mm lens. First time using that wide of an angle. I was rather pleased with the result.
Sunrise at Broken Arch in Arches, NP. Here I looked behind me and was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise over the rocks.
Lightning and natural lights of a bridge as a storm rolls in near Jekyll Island, GA
Long exposure and light painting of a tree on Driftwood Beach at Jekyll Island as a storm rolls out to sea
I was struck by how the driftwood reminded me of a runner. I really liked how the shadows added to the image in this shot.
The bridge near Jekyll Island, GA
Moonrise over Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island, GA
Sunrise through the driftwood at Jekyll Island
A composite of 6 images of lightning as a storm went through the area near Jekyll
