Legend font (free, latin & cyrillic)
Legend is an attempt to create a font, which would look definitely medieval and harmoniously combine Latin and Cyrillic letters despite the fact, that in Middle Ages they looked very differently.

Legend bases on the Insular Majuscule, accurate ceremonial script, the best known example of which is the Book of Kells (Britain or Ireland, ca. 800 AC). For majuscule letters that may not be recognized by a modern reader, I’ve created different basic glyphs and moved “exotic” forms to stylistic alternates. While modeling Cyrillic letters, I’ve tried not to break their logic, but at the same time to create the stylistic unity of the font.
