The Sciency Little Prince

A 4-piece collection to the The Sciency Little Prince because he brought Science and Art together.
Media: Acrylic on Paper.
He said, ‘Where I live, everything is very small’. He wasn’t travelling around different planets, he was just jumping around and visiting different nucleosomes in your cell. Forget asteroid B-612, think balls of H-1234 histones.

Ice boxes, pipette tip holders and other stuff always go missing in the lab. Actually, the boa constrictor is digesting them. The little prince told me that grown-ups always need to have things explained, which was why I needed to have Drawing Number One and Drawing Number Two. Quit thinking that it's a hat!

The baobabs that the little prince was talking about were actually viruses. They started out by being little, invisible and sleep deep in the heart of the cell’s darkness, until someone among them is seized with the desire to awaken. If it is good, one would let it grow wherever it might wish, but if it is bad, one must destroy it as soon as possible the very first instant that one recognizes it. Just like baobabs, you will never be able to get rid of it if you attend to it too late. It spreads over the entire place and if the place is too small, and they are too many, they split your cell in pieces. There is no harm in putting off a piece of work until another day but when it is a matter of baobabs (or viruses), that always mean a catastrophe.

And if you know him, the little prince never let go of a question once he had asked it. This is why he would make a very good scientist. He wasn’t holding a sword. It was a pipette.
