Concept vodka, from story to product.
Story:
The Avkastningen vodka has its origin in the wide Norwegian forests. Over there the time changes its connotation and is defined by the alternating of moon and sun, by the running of the seasons and by the relentless growth of the trees.
The Avkastningen vodka gets old by absorbing the proper value which only time can give.
The finished bottle shape, which is inspired to a sand glass, recalls the impress of time. The glass body with a crystalline graphite color and the addition of the cork and of the battens made of Norwegian wood narrate the origins and the treasure of the place from which this vodka comes.
The time is relative and often it flows by quickly, while being captured by the daily routine and the frenetic rhythms of daily life. The name Avkastningen is the Norse meaning of “return”, and it recalls to the spirit of the vodka itself.
And thanks to these properties, just by tasting it, the lost time seems to be restored, in a slow inimitable moment.
