This is a far cry from the small chalet that originally stood on the site, this house was custom designed as a 'home for life' for a local couple to raise their family. It has wonderful views across the valley to the distant woods and is in a fabulous position. It wasn't an easy site as to comply with the planning officer's request to keep the ridge height similar to the chalet, the site had to be greatly excavated and quite substantial retaining groundworks were necessary.
