Project Summary
A new sports team with a solid logo, brand identity, and collateral pieces representing the brand were to be created. The final collateral pieces must incorporate the brand standards of the brand, as well as emulate them in a way that is consistent across mediums. 
 
Project Execution
With the rise in popularity of woman's professional soccer, The Sacramento Sunrays, to be based in Sacramento, would be a new woman's professional soccer team, and would carry a strong brand identity that is representative of the sport and the region of California. 
 
Once the team name was established, work began forming a strong logo. After several iterations, a logo was created that represented the sport of soccer, the culture of California, and the sunny weather of the Sacramento region. 
 
Having established a strong name and logo, work was then created to represent the brand. Several pieces of collateral including billboards, apparel, and event tickets were created to showcase the brand and how it would be utilized across mediums.
