The inspiration of the Architecture Poster stemmed from a special traditional building in south-east China called Tulou. In this project, I focused on the use of shape in typography, and since Tulou is a concentric, multi-layer cylinder, I laid the text the similar shape, created some subtle overlaps, for which I quoted from Winston Churchill as the title: “We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”
