Project Description:
This temporary exhibition celebrated the dynamic history of architectural design in the city of Dallas, Texas with curated artifacts and content on large graphic panels. All graphic panels were designed to be removeable and transportable to other exhibition spaces around the city (without the artifacts). The exhibition space presented challenges: exterior wall colors could not be changed, several display cases were non-moveable, and artifacts could only be attached to central walls or temporary support structures. The chosen color palette compliments and unifies the spaces, which was divided into three chapters of content. Artifacts selected include salvage material from demolished structures and modern reproduction pieces, both illustrating particular architectural styles.
