Design of the cover for the “Nataša Bekvalac - Ljubav, vera, nada” was very challenging. The genre represented on the CD is a metaphor for some negative aspects of my (Croatian) society. Despite that i decided to keep one particularity of the CD covers design for Turbo-folk genre (domination of the singers gestalt) but aspired to modulate it through my design to match the singer. Nataša Bekvalac is different from the most Turbo-folk singers in the sense that she differentiates her self from the negative aspects of the genre clearly. Because of that i decided to avoid the usual eroticism and to accentuate the sensual.
