embracing the water
and its saline chores,
salubrious, despite the sun,
effervescent and inebriated,

fallacies of the yore
boats revel in decay
disenchanted by the piscine
corroded, like their owners
belaying waves of hope…
but nature hath a way
to heal all it sawed
as the man trudges off
disillusioned by the
terra firma, back revering
the aqueous abodes…
