"The Freckles Project" was born from the need to bring the viewer's attention on women natural beauty.
Today beauty standards, dictated by the media and the fashion world, destabilize the perception of real and end up inculcate standards that do not find any parallel in every day life, instead they only influence it in an extremely misleading and negative way.
The beauty does not lie in the lack of imperfections, but in the exaltation of them, as elements which characterize the person.
Freckles become the true subject of the picture, along with skin imperfections and small wrinkles, which are no longer recognized as defects or disturbing elements to cover and eliminate under pounds of makeup or hours of post production, but element of value, key features of a faces that are filled with a beauty that is undeniably striking.
