Meet the cast of indie comedy Frances Ha. The portrait art serves as part of the background composition for my Frances Ha poster design. I wanted the main visual elements to have a convincing traditional painterly appearance using wet and dry media brushes on a textured canvas surface. The workflow included Corel Painter IX, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS3.
In addition, I have decided to show my incomplete title and poster design idea along with the title treatment layout sketch.
