This was a very quick sketch I did, after a month of not using a pen tablet. In that time, I practiced with more traditional mediums, and I wanted to see whether I had improved. Scroll down for a step-by-step of the sketching/rendering process.
Very quick linework. No more than 10 minutes on this.
Figuring out the light source, and adding some shadows and highlights on the side.
I decided that it would be darker on the other side. Continuing to add detail in the shading.
Vents filled. More details.
Added wheels, and lights. Assume these are super deep dish wheels.
Add a blue tint, and import to Photoshop for some cleanup, as well as a background.
