So support shy sales on comic events and to give independent artists a chance to make a few more Euros for their troubles of signing up for costly comic events and produce material, I came up with a sticker book to address all those collectors roaming the halls, awkwardly asking creator for stickers and drawings.

"Kleb mich!" (Stick me) shall open a dialogue, guide visitors through the far-off corners of fairs and cons to browse indie artists.
 

 

 

First, more complex version: "Sammel mich!" (Collect me)

The complex version featured 4 different format to choose from for the artists.
1 - reserved space for drawings
2 - artwork
3a - fullpage artwork with sticker
3b - halfpage artwork with sticker

Each format would feature a couponing reward. The coupon stickers were to be collected with purchases from the artist tables. When completing the stickers on a page, the rewards would have been unlocked to be collected.
Rewards:
1 - the drawing
2 - something creative to be determined by the artist
3a/b - the sticker

The couponing could have a real on-location sales impact, but it was a complicated proposition for both artists and their clients.
I like my concepts effective and my sales strategies to be sharp, but the first premise is to make it as easy as possible to participate, so the complexity had to be scaled down.

The final version featured only 3 different formats to choose from for the artists.
A – halfpage artwork with rectangular sticker
B – fullpage artwork with freeform sticker
C – full spread (double page) artwork with 2 freeform stickers

No couponing mechanism, no rewards, but the chance to win a (yet to be designated) price after completion of the album.
Ad space for investors was added.
