What exactly is steampunk? That my friend is a good question...
My friend and makeup artist Brianna Frost approached me one day and told me that she wanted to do a steampunk shoot. I couldn't resist the idea of shooting the concept a second time. I heard about steampunk about a year ago when a local Spokane-based clothing designer asked if I had ever shot steampunk fashion. I had no clue what steampunk was all about. After Googling and reading about it, I was hooked.
The idea of Victorian-era clothing mixed with a touch of ecclectic technology fascinated me.
No matter what you think of it or feel about it, steampunk is like porn -- you know it when you see it!
