Drawing the Cast Courts, V&A Museum, London, Winter–Spring 2015
The Cast Courts at the V&A offer a rare opportunity to see and examine plaster copies of major statues and monuments from the Italian Renaissance. These drawings capture moments in time with enthusiastic visitors rushing by taking quick snaps on their way. My drawings emphasise the scale of the exhibits (the Statue of David is over 3 metres high) and the rushing movement of viewers.
