What is design? What is art? What is making? We don’t think those boundaries really exist: each informs the other. We set up the Heath Clay Studios to break down those boundaries. The Clay Studios in San Francisco and Los Angeles are where we do everything from glaze tests to new product exploration. They’re where we make one of a kind collectibles and work with artists on collaborations and shows; where we get our hands dirty, explore ideas, make mistakes, and let ourselves dream a little. They’re where magic happens.
