Tomorrowland Teaser Site
When Disney tapped us to create the teaser website for their upcoming film Tomorrowland, the wild card was launching the site live during the Super Bowl. We set the stage with a pre-teaser launch of our lightweight, responsive site with a jumbled Nixie tube clock mysteriously counting down to the start of the big game.
In sync with the Tomorrowland Super Bowl commercial airing, we launched the main teaser site, embedding the commercial with a special interactive Optimist Pin from the film, where upon clicking, users would be able to explore unreleased high resolution images of Tomorrowland’s futuristic world. The hotspot pins also functioned on all mobile & tablet platforms.
Within minutes of launch, despite the heavy media saturation of Super Bowl Sunday, Tomorrowland was one of the top trending Facebook shares.
