At the beginning of 2013 I was asked by a local cafe in Durban (The Factory Cafe) to design a poster for an upcoming exhibition, as well as to take part. 

 

The Brief:

- An Illustration depicting one of the 12 steps 'from seed to cup', using your own interpretation.

- My topic: "Sensory-Taste"

 

"Taste is often described as the coffee's "personality", influenced by the where the coffee is grown, how the coffee is harvested and processed (aka "de-pulping"), how its roasted (aka "roast profile") and the brewing method chosen to highlight its characteristics even further."
